1. Who we are

2. The service

RenderJam is a web application that generates video clips and music tracks from text prompts using third-party AI models (currently Runway for video and ElevenLabs for music). Generated files are stored in your account library. The service is provided "as is"; generative AI output varies and we do not guarantee that any particular prompt will produce a particular result.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, abuse the free tier (e.g. multiple accounts), or attempt to disrupt the service.

4. Plans, credits and billing

• Subscriptions (Creator, Studio, Agency) renew monthly until cancelled and include a monthly credit allowance that resets each billing month. Unused monthly credits do not roll over.
• Pay-as-you-go credit packs are one-time purchases; pack credits do not expire and are consumed after your monthly allowance.
• Credit costs per generation (e.g. per video second, per track, per 4K upscale) are shown on the pricing page and may be updated prospectively; changes never affect credits already spent.
• Prices are shown in EUR, USD or GBP; the currency you check out in is the currency you are billed in. Payment processing is handled by SureCart/Stripe — we never store card numbers.
• You can cancel any time; access and remaining monthly credits continue until the end of the paid period. After cancellation your account reverts to the Free plan and your library remains accessible.

5. Content ownership and license

• Your prompts remain yours.
• Generated output: to the extent permitted by law and by our AI providers' terms, we assign to you all rights we hold in output you generate. On the Free plan, output is licensed for personal, non-commercial use. On paid plans, output may be used commercially.
• You are responsible for how you use output, including checking that it does not infringe third-party rights (e.g. if your prompt requests a real person's likeness or a copyrighted style).
• AI-generated content may not be protectable by copyright in some jurisdictions, and similar outputs may be generated for other users from similar prompts.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use RenderJam to generate content that is illegal, infringes intellectual-property or personality rights, sexualizes minors, constitutes non-consensual intimate imagery, deceptively impersonates real people (deepfakes), promotes violence or hatred, or is intended for spam, fraud or disinformation. We may refuse, remove, or report content that violates this section and may suspend the account. Our AI providers' own usage policies (Runway, ElevenLabs) also apply.

7. Availability and changes

We target high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service; generation depends on third-party AI providers. We may modify features, models or limits with reasonable notice for material changes. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give at least 30 days' notice so you can download your library.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for intent or gross negligence). Otherwise, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

9. Withdrawal and refunds

See our Refund Policy. In short: EU/UK consumers have a 14-day withdrawal right; for credits, you consent at checkout to immediate performance and the withdrawal right lapses for credits already spent.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of [COUNTRY], without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Disputes go to the courts of [CITY, COUNTRY], unless mandatory law provides otherwise. EU consumers may also use the EU ODR platform.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in-app at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
